What town managers ask us.

Does this rule really apply to a town our size?
Yes. The DOJ rule applies to every public entity with no exemption for small towns. Entities under 50,000 population must comply by April 26, 2028; entities of 50,000 or more by April 26, 2027.
A vendor built our current website. Aren't they responsible?
The legal obligation stays with the town, even when the site was built or is hosted by a private vendor. That's why we deliver a written conformance report: it gives your town documentation of testing, not just a promise.
What about our agendas and minutes PDFs?
Documents your town posts and uses generally must meet the standard too. Scanned image PDFs usually don't. We assess your archive for free and quote remediation per document, so you fix what matters and archive the rest properly.
Can you guarantee we won't be sued?
No honest vendor can, and you should be cautious of any who says otherwise. What we deliver is a website built and tested to WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, the standard the rule requires, with documentation showing the work. That is the strongest position a town can be in.
How fast can we be done?
Micro town sites typically launch in 3 to 4 weeks, standard towns in 5 to 7. The bigger risk is waiting: as the deadline approaches, every municipal vendor's queue gets longer.
